As this year winds to a close, Delta Airlines is amongst a handful of carriers that are trying their best to please their customers. Delta services international destinations including several Atlantic and Pacific routes.

The carrier is busy modifying its 747 Boeing fleet with new seats in the Economy class that have a little more leg room (four extra inches) and 50% more recline. More importantly for Delta travelers, the Business Class (BusinessElite) is being appointed with full flat bed seats and all aircrafts will be fully refitted by the end of this year.

The effort is part of Delta’s current $2.0

Billion dollar retrofit projects that includes Terminal 4 at New York’s JFK and the already completed terminal in Atlanta. An additional $100 Million dollars will be spent on terminals C and D in La Guardia.

The seats and flat beds being installed are similar to Delta’s joint venture partners, Air France-KLM and Alitalia.
